Registration on eGCA : A step-by-step guide
To become a pilot, you must first create an EGCA login. All of your information as a pilot will be kept on this platform and accessible to DGCA. In this article, we will take you through all the steps required to obtain an eGCA id from the eGCA website.
Log into the egca website- https://www.dgca.gov.in/digigov-portal/jsp/dgca/common/login.jsp
Find the sign up option and from the drop down menu choose PILOT.
The Register page will appear once you submit. If you have a PMR file number, it inquires. Previous Medical Records, or PMR. Therefore, if you are a fresher, it's possible that you don't have a PMR; in this case, choose NO and then choose Step 2 to continue. However, if you have a PMR, you can select YES, enter your PMR information, and then continue.
Now upload your personal information, such as your name, address, parents' names, etc., in the following step. Ensure that everything you enter is accurate and in line with your ID proof. When finished, select "Proceed to Step 3."
You must now upload your documents in the subsequent step. You have a list of options, including the Aadhar card, voter ID, driver's licence, passport, etc. Whatever you intend to upload should be in JPG or PDF format and be no larger than 2000 megabytes.
Read the guidelines carefully while uploading your photo and signature.
On the same page, enter a working phone number and email address.
With the OTP you submit, your phone number and email address will be validated.
After providing all the necessary information, click on "submit application."
A confirmation email will be sent to your email id along with the egca username and password.
